Gunsan City to promote a public offering to support renewable energy convergence
Gunsan City, North Jeolla Province, will push for a public offering for the 2021 New and Renewable Energy Convergence Support" organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Energy Agency."
According to Gunsan City Government on the 22nd, the convergence support project is a project to increase energy efficiency and reduce charges by installing two or more types of renewable energy facilities at the same place at the same time, and provides up to 80 percent of the installation cost with state and local expenses.
In response, Gunsan City is conducting a demand survey on eastern regions (Impei-myeon, Seosu-myeon, Daeya-myeon, Revision-myeon, Seongsan-myeon, and Nap-myeon).
Anyone who owns houses or buildings in the eastern part of the country can apply for the project, and they can apply to the community center or the village head.
It will submit an application for the project to the Korea Energy Corporation by June 12, and the results will be finalized in October after public and on-site evaluations by the corporation.
Meanwhile, the city was finally selected for a public offering project in the southwestern part of the country (Okgu-eup, Oksan-myeon, Hoehyeon-myeon, Okdo-myeon, Okseo-myeon, Soryong-dong, and Miseong-dong) last year, and has invested 4.6 billion won in the 537 households of residents to install renewable energy (sunlight, solar and geothermal).
